1.Goji Berries or Goji Juice: Is There a Difference?

By: Robert Thomson

So which is better, Goji berries or Goji juice? Is there really a difference when it comes to nutrition? You may be surprised to know that there is a difference. This is mainly due to the processing methods. Here are some examples of how Goji berries and Goji juice are different.

Fresh fruits are the best because they have all the nutrients due to the fact that they are not processed at all. However they are quite hard to come by. You can sometimes buy them at health stores. You can also get Goji berries as plants and grow them yourself. You can do this either in pots or out in your own backyard. In this way you will have your own supply and be able to share them with others.

Goji juice is a close second, when it comes to nutrition. Although it does lose some of its nutrition with the heating of pasteurization, it is still very beneficial to your health. It is also a delicious beverage and is drunk once a day. It still has one of the highest levels of anti toxins among all the health supplement drinks.

Dried Goji berries also lose some of their nutritious value with the drying process. However they make great snacks and you can add them to your favorite cereal or yogurt. The best dried Goji berries are shade dried ones from Himalaya and the surround ding area. They are processed less and will retain more nutrition.

So which are best Goji berries or Goji juice? Do you like a tasty snack? Then the dried form of this product will be ideal for you. However if you are looking for convenience then Goji juice would be best as you only have to take it once a day to feel its benefits.
