Age spots and Acne are two common skin problems that occur often. The changes in diet and the lifestyle we lead these days has contributed to an increase in these two skin ailments. Age Spots are common among people who are older than 40, though younger people can also be affected by it. Adult acne is due to hormones, menopause, childbirth or discontinuation of the pill. Acne can appear on the face, neck, chest, shoulders, back and upper arms. Acne, if left untreated, could leave permanent scars on the skin. Thus this dreaded ailment is best treated by using herbal remedies. The reason being you do not want to further aggravate the skin using harsh chemicals.

No one likes to have a skin that is acne prone. Thus apart from using herbal remedies one needs to take proper care of skin as well. First and foremost one should avoid over usage of cosmetics and try using water-based moisturizers on the skin. Make sure that you remove cosmetics every night before going to bed. You can do so by using mild soap or gentle cleanser and water. If despite all these precautions you have acne then turning to herbal remedies is the best choice.

One should drink lots of water to free oneself of acne. Conventional medicines are not good for treating acne-; however traditional herbal medicines can go a long way to help one combat this menace. One such herbal remedy is to use flesh tinted acne lotion that contains acne medications to hide blemishes on the skin.
