Even though the city retains many amazing Victorian buildings such as the town hall & Central Library, it also boasts numerous naive buildings. many of these structures were constructed after the city was attacked by a terrorist bomb in 1996.

There's loads of things to do in Manchester, including many museums & galleries. a few of the best are URBIS, the jewish museum & the Whitworth Art Gallery.

The Whitworth gallery has a historic permanent collection of work, including art by artists such as Picasso, Paul Klee & David Hockney. as well as this, the gallery also has many touring exhibitions.
