Leadership Summit

Every year in august leaders of Las Vegas Schools gather together in Cashman Theatre. Last august this even was a celebration of new nine schools in Las Vegas. The leaders of school consist of: architects, school principals, community leaders, and state officials. The sponsor of this event was Council of Education Planners. This is international organization of construction professionals and education. The main aim of such organization is to improve the conditions and places where the people study. There are many facilities and elements of equipment. Those schools which have the best conditions for studying process are: Squires After School, Clark Country School etc.
In general there are about 12 000 new students in Las Vegas, so the buildings of schools must suit particular requirements. Altogether there are about 300 000 students in Las Vegas schools. Each school includes six levels of elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. Besides, there are special buildings for high schools. With each year the building are reconstructed and the equipment is improved.
Those students who study in Las Vegas schools are very active and have good academic results. For example, this summer students of Las Vegas schools took part in leadership summit in capital of USA. This summit is a chance for students to take part in the process of educational reform. Only best students, who have good achievements, academic results and leadership skills, were invited to participate in such summit. These are the students from the best American colleges and universities. To participate in the summit the students must have good recommendations from the teachers and school leaders.
During the summer leadership summit the students take part in different types of activities. They experience teamwork, share their ideas and achievements. During the summit the students receive much interesting and useful information concerning educational methods, postsecondary education and mentoring programs. This is good chance and interesting experience for students.
