Play Bingo, How to Get Started

By: Robert Thomson

Bingo is a very fun game and is not at all difficult to play and it is also very easy to get started. The easiest way is to choose a user friendly website where you can play Bingo online, for example, www.888ladies.com.
You register by completing a simple form and providing a debit or credit card number. At this point the website actually gives you £10 (in the form of 10,000 loyalty points) to get started with your game play. After you have set up your account you may wish to add additional funds. 888ladies accepts both credit and debit cards. They also accept payments through various online services such as Neteller or Switch and Solo.
Now that you have an active, funded account, you need to choose a game. There are two types of Bingo available for play. These are 90 ball Bingo and 75 ball Bingo.

When playing online Bingo, traditional Bingo balls are not used. Numbers are drawn using a random number generator via computer and when a called number matches a number on a player's Bingo card that number should be marked or "daubed" on the card to indicate that it has been called.

90 ball Bingo is played on cards comprised of three rows of nine numbers (3 x 9). Each row of nine squares holds five numbers and four blank spaces. Generally 90 ball Bingo tickets are bundled in groups of six tickets called a "strip". One strip contains all 90 numbers so that a match is made on each strip played every time a number is called. During the game numbers are marked or "daubed" on a player's card to indicate that these numbers have been called.
To win a game of 90 ball Bingo you need to achieve one of three patterns. The first pattern is called "any one line". To achieve this pattern you must complete one of the three horizontal lines with five called numbers on one card. The second winning pattern is "any two lines". To achieve this pattern the player must complete any two of the three horizontal lines on one card within 10 called numbers. The third pattern is called "full house". This pattern is achieved when someone completes all three lines on any one card.

75 ball Bingo is played on cards that are 5 x 5. At the top of each of the five columns is a letter; starting from the left B-I-N-G-O. Each letter has a corresponding range of assigned numbers in sets of 15; B = 1-15, I = 16-30, etc.
Some of the common patterns used in 75 ball bingo are the "single line" which is achieved when numbers on a line of five consecutive squares, either vertically or horizontally, are called. Other common patterns are letters of the alphabet such as X, L, T or N. Another common pattern which usually garners a big prize is the "coverall", achieved when all spaces on a single card are daubed or "covered" with called numbers.
Online Bingo is a fun and exciting game and there is no better place to get started than www.888ladies.com.
